The Committee of Relief and Cooperation for the Advancement of Haiti (CORCAH) has long been known as an excellent not-for-profit organization,  working to foster partnerships, promote sustainable economic growth and to find lasting solutions to poverty in Haiti. Our utmost goal is to support the economic and social development of HAITI.  More recently, CORCAH has emerged as a leader in projects and technology for economic development and strategic planning.

The 21^st  century has brought with it a broad array of scientific breakthroughs and the ever-present promise of more. There are always new frontiers to conquer. To that end, CORCAH has fostered partnerships and strengthened relationships with regional, national and international organizations. It is preparing to launch three chapters to increase its presence around the world. 

Through comprehensive services, CORCAH talented and dedicated leaders promote the mastery of social and economic development programs and their applications at advanced level.

WHAT MAKES AN ORGANIZATION GREAT?

ACHIEVEMENT AND PATWAYS OF PROGRESS

In 2004, CORCAH launched a new website that will have a beneficial impact on the organization. The website is designed to meet the diverse needs of the world community, and, more importantly, the Haitian community. That will further improve upon the organization’s long-standing traditions of excellence.

The official website of CORCAH includes information in English and French. It will significantly expand our ability to meet the wide-ranging needs of our community. We are looking forward to providing a state-of-the-art website as we progress.

CORCAH ON FAST TRACK

CORCAH has emerged as one of the fastest growing not-for-profit and non-governmental organization (NGO), becoming an innovative leader in meeting the needs of the Haitian community. CORCAH offers quality services and rich opportunities.

What make CORCAH special is the dedication of  our  members to a noble mission. We feel connected to, and responsible for the success of each stakeholder.  CORCAH provides a number of services designed to meet a variety of needs. It provides Haitian people with easy access to an array of support systems designed to promote economic growth. That support system starts with the website.

The website project is one element in the organization’s new comprehensive master plan, which has been developed to guide short-term and long-term plan for the organization. The website will support the organization’s economic mission.

CORCAH has been recognized as a leader in the development and execution of projects. Our leadership team is dedicated to assisting our partners in achieving success.

From 1961, CORCAH has played a vital role in the economic development of Haiti.  We have created activities and programs to map these cause-effect relationships – from vision to operations, to the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure that supports them.  Our website is a highly technological tool that allows viewers to see effects of change, and helps our stakeholders track our accomplishments.

CORCAH’S PROJECT LEADERSHIP TEAM

Since 1961, the CORCAH has developed and executed major projects that represent an economic investment. Our operations cover the entire spectrum of economic and social development in Haiti, with an emphasis on programs that benefit populations in the department of Grand Anse, and particularly in the city of Ansed’Hainault.

CORCAH has a professional team that supports project preparation. The utmost goal is to facilitate a more seamless transition from preparation to execution by financing additional project start-up activities. This team is responsible for researching funding available per project. It will provide complementary financing to finalize preparation activities for projects in the organization's pipeline. 

This Project Leadership team has the responsibility to obtain financial resources for the preparation of projects and programs. We are focusing on grants for the preparation of a specific project. We look forward to strengthening and shortening the project preparation stage, facilitating grant approval and project execution.

The Project Leadership team may hire professional consulting services to perform studies and activities:  Pre-feasibility studies, feasibility studies, and final designs of projects, studies to evaluate the impact of the projects in terms of the environment, and resource distribution among other areas, training of local experts, purchase of certain inputs or materials related to the preparation of the project and contracting of initial technical assistance.
